Thassos is the northern island of Greece and it is known for its amazing beaches and its deep green landscapes, both in the inner part of the island, and in the outer part as well. Thassos is a famous destination which attracts thousands of tourists every year, who enjoy the sun and the sea in Thasso’s beautiful beaches.

Studios Meni is located in Limenaria Thassos, which is based at the south part of Thassos island. Limenaria is the second village in population after the capital, Limenas. It is one of the most famous destinations because there is tense nightlife, it has large market, lots of restaurants, coffee shops, patisseries, and bars. The most popular beaches of Thassos, are close to Limenaria as well.

The most important sight at Limenaria, is “Palataki” (little palace) which is located at the hill of the village, and is a sample of European architecture of the early 19th century. It was used as the headquarters of the german company Spidel, which had the command of the metal mines management.

Just behind “Palataki” you will see the graphic beach of Metalleia. It is a quiet but organized beach and has crystal blue waters. You can swim and enjoy the amazing view of the old buildings which used to be the mining laboratories.
